Grape variety: 100% Passerina, an indigenous grape of our region
Bottle weight: ~ 400 g
VINEYARDS
Production area: family organic vineyards in Petritoli, a small village in Aso Valley.
Soil composition: mainly calcareous and clayey with varying proportions of gravel.
WINEMAKING
The harvest is determined by 3-parameter maturation curve: sugars, total acidity, pH. Thermo-conditioned vinification process for white grapes clarified by must flotation, temperature-controlled fermentation at 16°C.
Ageing in steel tanks for at least five months on the fine lees.
WINEMAKER TASTING NOTES
White wine of medium body, soft and fragrant, which offers notes of white flowers, beautiful freshness and complexity.
WINE PAIRING
Perfect with delicate food such as raw and lightly cooked shellfish and grilled fish. Amare also goes well with pasta or risotto with spring vegetables, creamy soups or appetizers, such as chicken or vegetable terrines.
